E.L.F Haul
I just could not resist a 50% off haul from e.l.f…mainly because in their last one a lot of the things I wanted were out of stock, and I always rave about their 50% off because everything is such brilliant value! Yes some things can be a little hit and miss but the majority of the time I do a quick google search of fellow blogger’s reviews and if a particular item is consistently being rated negatively…clearly I’d not waste monies on it 🙂 My favourite line is the studio one without a doubt, but I adore the mineral line’s lip products – they can do little wrong!
Starting with brushes (all £3.75 full price), I picked up two that I already own the angled eyeliner brush and the small angled brush both two essentials. I adore the latter for brows as the only other brow brush I own is the real technique ones and unless you’ve got amazingly thick ‘uns it’s tricky to them filled in without going over the top/making them look unnatural. The two new brushes in my collection are the eyeshadow C brush which I really like the look of, it seems like an awesome shader brush. I also bought the complexion brush which was the one that’s been on my list for the longest time so I’m looking forwards to giving it a whirl!
With lips I went slightly doo-lalay over the Mineral line lipsticks (£5 full price)..I already own the shades Rosy Raisin and Party Pink and the pigmentation, quality and feel on the lips for a mere £2.50 (with 50% of course) makes them some of the bestest drugstore lippies around. As ever I am always on the hunt for beautiful nude shades so I picked up the lighter pinks in nicely nude and runaway pink. I then proceeded to add a bit more colour, especially for the current season so I bought cheerful cherry and beautiful berry (yay for rhyming). I plan to do a whole post dedicated to these beauties as I really do think they’re under-rated on the blogosphere!
I adore these Mineral Lip Tints (£3.50 full price), not least because they include an spf and beautiful pigmentation! I bought a back up for one of my favourite nude/lighter shades ever – guava and I also bought berry. Finally I THINK I saw this on a youtuber and loved how it looked on here, so I picked up on the of the conditioning lip balms (£3.75 full price) and with an even higher SPF of 15 in the shade nice and natural.
For the face I picked up this warm bronzer (£3.75) which is one of their oldest studio line products I believe, and it probably wasn’t a necessary purchase, but recently I just cannot stop buying bronzers (somebody help me!!) I then popped the contouring blush and bronzing cream (£3.75) into my basket because the idea of layering your contour for special occasions was too prominent in my mind to ignore. Plus, though I’m sure this one isn’t mooseish in texture, the bourjois bronzing primer is such a nifty and natural looking product for contouring I couldn’t resist this offer.
I bought this eyebrow kit in medium (£3.75), mainly because I’ve heard such good things about it, and also because at less than £2 with the discount it would have been rude not too!
I also managed to get one of these gorgeous HD blushers (£3.75), which look MESSY! but I’ve been wanting to try them for months, so hopefully the shade superstar will turn out good – it did seem like the best me shade of the bunch but we shall put it through it’s paces before a detailed review!
So that was my splurge of an e.l.f haul! A couple of things probably didn’t NEED to be in the basket but these 50% off sales are too good to miss, although I’ve put all the prices in full above – HALF PRICE is just phenomenal to try out these goodies, a lot of which are probably worth a good deal more!
I know I wasn’t the only blogger out there jumping to eyelipsface.co.uk so please link your e.l.f haul below I’d love to have a read! What are your favourite e.l.f products?
